Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Setting the technical direction for the NHI Governance domain, the full-time Senior Staff Software Development Engineer will own architecture, drive complex technical initiatives, and establish standards for integration with shared platform services in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technical direction and architecture across the NHI Governance domain and its integration with shared platform services
• Lead complex, high-risk technical initiatives from problem identification to system delivery
• Mentor staff and senior engineers, raising the technical bar and improving organizational building practices

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in architecting and delivering large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems
• Expert programming skills in C#, Go, TypeScript, Java, or other modern languages
• Strong hands-on AWS expertise in designing and operating production applications at scale
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Proven track record of owning architecture and technical direction across multiple teams
