Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative legal automation initiatives, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will architect and build AI-driven legal infrastructure, focusing on automating high-volume legal workflows and enhancing institutional client agreement processes in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop a platform of AI agents and automated workflows for legal processes
• Own the institutional client agreement automation system, creating an end-to-end workflow for agreement redlining
• Consolidate various ad-hoc bots into a cohesive agent platform with established standards and governance

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of backend software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping production systems
• Experience deploying LLM-based applications, including evaluation frameworks and human-in-the-loop design
• Multi-agent orchestration experience in designing systems where AI agents collaborate effectively
• Strong ability to communicate complex workflows to non-technical stakeholders
• Fundamentals of distributed systems to architect agreement automation systems correctly
