Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical vision for the Blockchain Platform team, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will architect and evolve core infrastructure, including nodes and wallets, while driving multi-quarter strategies to support new chain integrations and enhance transaction efficiency in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy for Blockchain Platform, focusing on nodes, wallets, and indexing systems
• Architect and evolve platform infrastructure for high availability, low latency, and security at global scale
• Lead large-scale, cross-team architectural initiatives, ensuring clear milestones and measurable outcomes

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years at a staff-plus level in high-throughput transaction systems
• Hands-on experience with blockchain protocols at the node or protocol level, such as EVM chains or Bitcoin
• Proven track record of leading multi-team architectural initiatives from design to production
• Experience applying AI or agent-based automation to improve operational efficiency or reliability
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency and quality
