Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical vision for the Blockchain Platform team, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will architect and evolve core infrastructure for nodes, wallets, and indexing systems, driving high availability and security across multiple blockchain networks in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy for Blockchain Platform, supporting new chain integrations and product growth
• Architect core platform infrastructure for high availability, low latency, and cost efficiency at a global scale
• Lead large-scale architectural initiatives, ensuring clear milestones and measurable outcomes across teams

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years at a staff-plus level in high-throughput transaction systems
• Hands-on experience with blockchain protocols at the node or protocol level, including staking and bridging systems
• Proven track record of leading multi-team architectural initiatives in critical infrastructure environments
• Experience applying AI or automation to improve platform efficiency and reliability
• Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly while maintaining oversight for workflow improvements
