Senior Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the ServiceNow platform, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will design and optimize execution engines and memory management systems while mentoring colleagues and ensuring high-quality code delivery in a flexible remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimize execution engines, JIT/AOT compilation pipelines, and memory management systems for scalable customer applications
- Build high-quality, clean, and reusable code while enforcing best practices in software engineering architecture
- Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and manage the complete software development lifecycle from design to delivery
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience with Java or similar object-oriented languages, including 5+ years in compiler or runtime systems
- Experience integrating AI into software development and workflows
- Strong background in compiler/runtime systems, including execution engines and performance optimization
- Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
- Passion for JavaScript and modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
