Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the technical vision for the Blockchain Platform, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will lead the architecture and evolution of core infrastructure, including nodes and wallets, while ensuring high availability and security across multiple blockchain networks in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the multi-quarter technical strategy for Blockchain Platform, supporting new product integrations and increased transaction volume
• Architect and enhance platform infrastructure for optimal performance, focusing on availability, latency, and security
• Lead large-scale architectural initiatives, translating complex requirements into actionable milestones and measurable outcomes

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years at a staff-plus level in high-throughput transaction systems
• Hands-on experience with blockchain protocols at the node or protocol level, including staking infrastructure and bridging protocols
• Proven experience leading multi-team architectural initiatives in a globally critical infrastructure environment
• Experience applying AI or automation to enhance operational efficiency and reliability
• Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight for workflow improvements
