Senior Staff Software Engineer
Job Summary
To drive technical excellence in core consumer experiences, the remote full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will define and implement technical strategies for Marketplace and Search while collaborating with engineering leaders and stakeholders to build scalable, reliable solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the vision by defining the technical direction and long-term roadmap for Marketplace, Search, Ads Platform, and App Experiences
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement technical excellence and ensure alignment with business results across consumer-facing experiences
- Mentor and guide engineers, championing best practices and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of full-stack experience with a strong focus on backend architecture, preferably using React Native, Javascript, or Kotlin
- Proven track record of leading critical projects and collaborating across multiple engineering teams
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing technical strategies that enhance reliability and responsiveness
- Previous project or people management experience, with strong influencing and coaching skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
