Senior Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the multi-year technical strategy for Identity & Access Management, the full-time Senior Staff Software Engineer will unify human, AI agent, service, and workload identity into a coherent platform while driving architecture decisions across multiple teams and mentoring engineering staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technical strategy for IAM, focusing on authentication, authorization, provisioning, and governance
• Establish architecture standards and integration contracts for engineering teams, ensuring consistent access across 700+ systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to translate audit and regulatory requirements into automated controls and evidence generation

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record in multi-team platform leadership
• Expertise in Identity & Access Management across multiple domains, including service or workload identity
• Experience with production Go and distributed systems design on AWS, along with knowledge of identity protocols and standards
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive technical direction across organizations
• Skilled in translating complex audit and regulatory requirements into automated technical solutions
