Senior Staff Technical Product Owner

Job Summary

Owning the product direction for the FinOps Control Tower's cost-and-usage capabilities, the full-time Senior Staff Technical Product Owner will manage the product vision and roadmap while collaborating closely with engineering and finance teams in a flexible or remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for cost-and-usage capabilities, focusing on Showback and allocation maturity
• Translate business requirements into actionable data-product specifications and manage the backlog for FinOps practitioners and stakeholders
• Lead the modernization of reporting from static dashboards to governed, self-service data applications on the semantic layer

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in technical product ownership or management of data, analytics, or reporting platforms
• Proven track record of defining and delivering dashboards and reporting products that stakeholders adopt
• Experience with data engineering and BI work, including dbt/SQL transformations and semantic-layer concepts
• Strong stakeholder management skills across engineering, data, finance, and executive audiences
• Full professional proficiency in English
