Senior Staff Threat Researcher

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Threat Researcher, Detection Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor R&D technical leaders and provide technical direction to multiple teams
• Lead development of company objectives and produce specifications for operational feasibility
• Exercise independent judgment and account for results impacting the entire function

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a security architect, detection developer, or similar role
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and experience with OS-specific telemetry
• Experience leading and mentoring development teams while contributing code independently
• Deep understanding of networking security principles and experience with detection frameworks
• Preferred: B.Sc. in a technical field; M.Sc./PhD is a plus
