Senior State and Local Tax SALT Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior SALT Manager with experience in State and Local Tax services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a full range of State and Local Tax services, including tax return preparation and review, tax research, and drafting client correspondence
• Counsel clients in defending against state audits
• Manage multi-state reviews to identify optimal filing options, exemptions, credits and incentives, and corporate structures to reduce client tax burdens

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate and public accounting (for senior level) or 5+ years of experience (for manager level)
• Mandatory state income/franchise/indirect tax experience
• CPA or JD/LLM required for manager level
• Permanent resident of the United States
• Authorized to work in the United States
