Senior Statutory Accountant
Job Summary
To support a growing Statutory Reporting unit, the full-time Senior Statutory Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, assisting with regulatory audits, and leading projects related to reinsurance accounting while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Statutory financial statements for regulatory authorities
- Assist in audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries while adhering to deadlines
- Lead ad hoc projects supporting Statutory Reporting and Finance needs, including reinsurance accounting
Required qualifications
- Experience in reinsurance accounting from implementation to reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite (ERP) and Workiva (Wdesk) is a significant plus
- Demonstrable track record in a complex financial reporting environment
- Experience in the healthcare and insurance industries is desirable
