Senior STD Case Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior STD Case Manager will manage complex short-term disability claims, ensuring timely and accurate decisions while providing exceptional customer service and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Make timely, accurate claim decisions for STD and AM, handling complex cases and gathering necessary information
• Document claims comprehensively and maintain compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide empathetic customer service, building trust with claimants and employers while mentoring new team members

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years of experience in STD Industry claims management
• Demonstrated proficiency in STD, LTD, or AM products and relevant federal/state regulations
• Strong familiarity with disability claim management concepts and medical terminology
• Ability to work under pressure and make independent claim decisions
