Senior Stop Loss Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Stop Loss Group Underwriter who will independently underwrite complex group insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and direction to lower-level group underwriters and contribute to performance reviews
• Evaluate risk for complex group insurance products, ensuring proper pricing and funding methods
• Analyze client profitability and participate in product development and marketing initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of Stop Loss underwriting experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in PC applications including word processing and spreadsheets
• Bachelor's degree preferred
