A company is looking for a Senior Account Underwriter- Stop Loss.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the underwriting process for new and renewal stop loss business, including risk evaluation and pricing strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations
• Manage a diversified portfolio of stop loss business, ensuring growth targets are met while balancing risk exposure

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in stop loss underwriting with a strong understanding of medical stop loss and reinsurance structures
• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, mathematics, economics, risk management, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data for informed underwriting decisions
• In-depth knowledge of stop loss underwriting guidelines and the broader insurance landscape
• Proficiency with technical tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
