Senior Stop Loss Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Stop Loss Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based underwriting for new and existing accounts to achieve profit and growth goals
• Analyze claim history and determine appropriate rate levels and aggregate factors for complex cases
• Manage performance metrics for assigned territories and provide competitive feedback on rates and products

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in Stop Loss Risk Based Underwriting
• Extensive knowledge of Stop Loss products, pricing, and the Underwriting Discipline
• Proven financial ability and strong analytical skills
• Experience with Reinsurance is a plus
