Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Storage Architect for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintenance, security, and availability of Storage and SAN infrastructure based on business requirements
- Perform complex provisioning, maintenance, data replication, disaster recovery, and documentation for Open Systems Storage and Backup environments
- Mentor junior team members, develop ITIL procedures, and work on Infrastructure Building Blocks based Reference Architectures
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or associated experience
- 5-10 years of experience in SAN/Storage/Backup Administration with 3-5 years as an architect
- Oracle ZFS Storage Certified Implementation Specialist certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of storage concepts, architecture, and Fiber Channel architecture
- Comprehensive understanding of IT processes, best practices related to backup and recovery, and SAN/NAS technology
