Senior Storage Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Storage Engineer for a remote contract position, the role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale NetApp storage solutions while ensuring high availability and performance in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise-scale NetApp storage solutions, including ONTAP-based systems
• Administer and optimize SAN and NAS environments, performing storage provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and manage data protection technologies and policies

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship (required)
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise storage engineering or storage operations
• Strong hands-on experience with NetApp systems (AFF, FAS) and ONTAP
• Proven experience supporting large-scale, multi-client or enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of SAN/NAS architectures and protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB)
