Job Summary
Driving the development and operational excellence of cloud-based storage products, the full-time Senior Storage Engineer will enhance features, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and oversee the health of storage platforms in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new features and enhancements for the storage product portfolio, focusing on reliability and performance
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to define technical requirements and influence product direction
- Oversee day-to-day operational health of storage platforms, including troubleshooting and incident response
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in storage systems engineering with a focus on product development and operational responsibilities
- Proven background in building and managing distributed storage products, preferably with Ceph
- Strong proficiency with Linux systems and scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies like KVM and Kubernetes
- Demonstrated expertise in technical documentation and training enablement
