Senior Storage Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the performance and reliability of a multi-region storage ecosystem, the full-time Senior Storage Engineer will design, implement, and maintain distributed storage deployments while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Own capacity, durability, availability, and performance characteristics of various storage systems
- Tune the full I/O path and diagnose performance issues end to end
- Write production code for storage control-plane services and automate operations
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years in infrastructure, storage, or systems engineering with experience in production storage at scale
- Deep knowledge of at least one distributed storage system (e.g., Ceph, MinIO, Lustre)
- Strong understanding of Linux internals and storage-stack components
- Proficiency in writing production code in Go, Python, or similar languages
- Experience with observability tooling and performance analysis in production environments
