Senior Storage Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Storage Infrastructure Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HW and SW engineering teams to define new features for distributed software storage systems
• Craft and develop scalable, distributed storage management system solutions using Perl and Python
• Drive improvements to software design and test processes to enhance velocity and production quality

Required Qualifications

• Development background in Linux software development, storage systems, and networked distributed systems
• Solid understanding of storage concepts such as volumes, snapshots, clones, and deduplication
• Ability to drive architectural design decisions balancing cost, performance, reliability, and scalability
• MS (preferred) or BS in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Development experience with Perl and Python
