Senior Storage Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building high-performance storage technologies, the full-time Senior Storage Software Engineer will develop client libraries and filesystem frameworks for AI workloads, enhance storage systems, and create observability tools, working remotely or onsite across various locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop storage technologies and frameworks to facilitate data access for AI workloads across hybrid cloud infrastructures
• Improve performance and reliability of storage systems handling massive datasets and high-concurrency AI tasks
• Implement observability systems to diagnose storage bottlenecks and monitor I/O behavior in production environments

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience with 5+ years in software engineering
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and operating systems
• Experience in building performance-sensitive systems using languages such as Go, Python, Rust, C/C++, or Java
• Familiarity with storage systems, object stores, caching, Linux systems, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure
• Ability to design APIs and communicate effectively while addressing complex infrastructure challenges
