Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Storage Systems Engineer II.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, architect, design, and develop disaggregated block storage for compute products
- Design and lead a multi-year technical roadmap, balancing short and long-term investments
- Collaborate with peers on technical decision making and contribute to open source software communities
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in distributed storage systems, particularly in large scale SaaS or IaaS environments
- Experience with Ceph or other open source storage systems is a bonus
- Strong background in collaborating with orchestration, compute, and product teams
- Ability to analyze real-world usage data to improve storage services
- Experience in maintaining the availability and performance of existing storage products
