Senior Strategic Buyer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer to support the Corporate Operations division.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct price/cost analysis for government contracts and proposals
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and monitor performance
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and manage purchase orders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of six years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Strong understanding of FAR/DFARS flow-down requirements
• Familiarity with DCMA guidelines regarding equipment purchases
• Experience with RFQ/RFP processes and an understanding of Prime Contract Types
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles for price/cost analysis
