Senior Strategic Finance Associate

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end financial planning process for a major domain, the full-time Senior Strategic Finance Associate will serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders, driving analytical rigor and designing scalable planning processes in a hybrid role based out of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the financial planning process for a major domain, ensuring quality standards and accountability are met
• Define and validate the 6-12 month financial strategy, translating it into financial outcomes and leading indicators
• Build business cases for major investments, providing analytical foundations for leadership decision-making

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of FP&A or Strategic Finance experience, preferably in high-growth SaaS environments
• Proven ability to design planning processes and influence decisions across teams
• Expert-level financial modeling skills, including SaaS unit economics and scenario analysis
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools, FP&A platforms, and ERP systems
• BS/BA in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus
