Senior Structural Analyst

Job Summary

Senior Structural Analyst, a full-time contract position focused on analyzing the mechanical performance of reactor components in high-temperature environments, requiring extensive experience in structural and finite element analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical analyses of reactor structures and components to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize nuclear component designs
• Document analysis results, conduct peer reviews, and mentor team members

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Nuclear, or Civil Engineering
• 8+ years of experience with a B.S., 5+ years with an M.S., or 3+ years with a Ph.D
• Proficiency in finite element stress analysis and tools such as ANSYS and SolidWorks
• Experience with pressure equipment design codes and standards, particularly ASME BPVC
• Familiarity with seismic analysis techniques and quality assurance requirements
