Senior Structural Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Structural Designer 1 - Nuclear.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop structural physical layout drawings in a 3-D model and generate structural design schematics
• Act as the structural design team lead, coordinating detailed design phases and providing guidance to other designers
• Plan and execute structural design deliverables independently and as part of a design team

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in drafting or a high school diploma with relevant drafting coursework or equivalent technical experience
• 10 or more years of detailed design experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete design drawings
• Proficiency with design software tools for 3D plant layout models
• Experience reviewing structural layout drawings for steel frames, concrete members, and supports
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and design teams across disciplines in power plant design
