Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of structural drawings and specifications, the full-time Senior Structural Engineer will perform advanced structural analysis and design for various projects while working remotely and ensuring effective cross-discipline coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design with a focus on concrete, steel, and masonry
• Develop and maintain project structural drawings and specifications in compliance with building codes
• Conduct investigations of existing conditions and prepare detailed reports

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license or progress towards obtaining one
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations including ACI 318, AISC 360, and IBC
• Experience with structural design software such as RISA or STAAD is preferred
