Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Satellite Systems Engineering team, the full-time Senior Structural and Dynamics Engineer will evaluate satellite component vendors, conduct launch vehicle integration studies, and generate Interface Control Documents while working in Westminster, CO with a hybrid schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and evaluate responses to RFIs and RFPs with satellite component vendors
• Submit reports and conduct launch vehicle integration studies using satellite and stack structural models
• Generate Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and oversee compliance with structural and mechanical requirements

Required qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, aerospace, physics, or a related field
• 3-7 years of experience with space systems engineering and analysis
• Experience in structural dynamics analysis using CAD software and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools
• Mechanical design experience on a satellite or aerospace program component
