Senior Structural Steel Detailer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Structural Steel Detailer to produce high-quality structural steel fabrication drawings and lead projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication and erection requirements
• Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings, and coordinate with project stakeholders for accuracy and efficiency
• Produce shop drawings, perform QA/QC checks, and manage revisions throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and strong knowledge of AISC codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and perform clash detection
• Experience working independently while leading projects
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and integration is preferred
