Senior Structural Steel Detailer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Structural Steel Detailer to produce high-quality structural steel fabrication drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication and erection requirements
• Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings while coordinating with engineers and project managers
• Produce shop drawings, BOMs, and perform QA/QC checks on drawings for quality and compliance

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures
• Strong knowledge of AISC codes and relevant industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Experience with clash detection and coordination
