Senior Structural Steel Detailer

Job Summary

Leading complex structural steel projects, the full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer will produce high-quality fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures, collaborate with engineers and project managers, and guide junior detailers in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication and erection requirements
• Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings while coordinating with engineers and project teams for accuracy
• Perform QA/QC checks on drawings and manage revisions throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and strong knowledge of AISC codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and perform clash detection
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience in managing larger scopes of fabrication projects
