Senior Structural Steel Detailer

Job Summary

Leading complex structural steel detailing projects, the full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer will produce high-quality fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures, collaborating with engineers and project managers in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication and erection requirements
• Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings, while coordinating with project teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Review and check drawings for quality, manage revisions, and assist in resolving design and fabrication issues

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and strong knowledge of AISC codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and perform clash detection
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience in managing projects and leading a detailing team
