Senior Structural Steel Detailer

Job Summary

Leading Tekla modeling and detailing for complex projects, the full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer will produce high-quality structural steel fabrication drawings, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with industry standards while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Tekla modeling and detailing, defining standards and ensuring deliverables meet fabrication requirements
• Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings while managing larger scopes of projects
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and junior detailers to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Tekla Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures
• Strong knowledge of AISC codes and relevant industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Experience with clash detection and coordination
