Senior Structural Steel Detailer

Job Summary

To support the production of high-quality structural steel fabrication drawings, the full-time Senior Structural Steel Detailer will lead Revit modeling and detailing for complex projects while collaborating with engineers and project managers, with opportunities for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Revit modeling and detailing for complex projects, ensuring deliverables meet fabrication and erection requirements
• Develop detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures, managing larger scopes of fabrication projects
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and junior detailers to ensure accuracy and efficiency in project execution

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Revit Detailer (structural steel) with leadership experience
• Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures and strong knowledge of AISC codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents effectively
• Experience with clash detection and coordination
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while leading projects
