Senior Structural Test Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Senior Structural Test Engineer will define and drive structural test plans for next-generation boards and systems, while developing automated test infrastructure and optimizing testing processes in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define ICT capability and hardware design requirements for structural testing at Texas CM sites
• Optimize structural test plans to identify SMT, PCB, and component issues early in the development process
• Collaborate with designers and suppliers to provide DFM guidance and support production bring-up and debugging

Required qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, or related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in ICT programming, fixture design/manufacturing, and factory testing
• Strong understanding of ICT development, hardware design, and structural testing
• Solid knowledge of board manufacturing processes and proven program management capability
• Self-starter able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
