Senior Student Advisor

Job Summary

Providing leadership and mentorship to a small team, the full-time Senior Student Advisor will manage a caseload of students, support program services and initiatives, and assist in the training of new advisors in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and support a team of student advisors while addressing daily inquiries and handling complex student concerns
• Offer specialized advising to students, monitor academic progress, and implement retention strategies for at-risk students
• Contribute to the development of advising processes and maintain a collaborative culture to enhance student support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of professional advising experience, preferably in higher education
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience, particularly in a remote setting
• Strong understanding of institutional values, curriculum, policies, and resources
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the USA; visa sponsorship is not available
