Senior Subcontracts Manager

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of complex subcontracts, the full-time Senior Subcontracts Manager will oversee cradle-to-grave subcontract management activities, provide leadership to subcontract personnel, and ensure compliance with federal regulations in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex, high-value subcontracts and perform lifecycle administration from acquisition planning to closeout
• Lead subcontractor source-selection activities and conduct price analysis and negotiations to establish fair pricing
• Provide leadership and mentorship to subcontract personnel, balancing workloads and ensuring quality and compliance in deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, contracts management, finance, law, or a related field preferred
• Eight or more years of experience in subcontract management or related disciplines, with a focus on U.S. federal government contracts
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring subcontract or procurement professionals
• Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations as they apply to subcontract formation and administration
• Professional certification such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager or equivalent credential preferred
