Job Summary

Serving as a key customer contact, the full-time remote Senior Support Analyst - IBMi will troubleshoot advanced technical issues, analyze complex systems, and provide timely resolutions while mentoring junior team members and contributing to best practices.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced technical troubleshooting and system analysis to resolve complex customer issues
  • Communicate effectively with high-priority customers, ensuring they understand problem resolutions and providing technical knowledge
  • Mentor junior analysts and lead training sessions to enhance team and customer understanding of Fortra's solutions
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in technical support or IBM i system analysis with a focus on complex software troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of IBM i system configurations and troubleshooting methodologies
  • IBM i administration experience, including software installations and job scheduling
  • Proficiency in diagnosing complex technical issues and identifying root causes
