Senior Synthetic Data Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and developing the enterprise Synthetic Data Platform, the full-time Senior Synthetic Data Engineer will create reusable, standards-conformant healthcare transaction datasets while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the Synthetic Data Platform for healthcare transaction processing
- Create scalable data generation capabilities that produce PHI-free, standards-compliant datasets
- Collaborate with engineers to validate and optimize synthetic datasets for integration and operational workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Ten or more years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or enterprise application development
- Strong software engineering experience using Python or comparable programming languages
- Experience developing APIs and data generation solutions for complex healthcare relationships
- Familiarity with ANSI X12 healthcare transaction standards and relational databases
