Senior SysOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support customer cloud environments, the full-time Senior SysOps Engineer will implement, secure, and enhance cloud infrastructure while mentoring Cloud Engineers and driving automation and operational excellence in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver automated and scalable solutions for Cloud Operations engineers to improve operational efficiencies
• Lead customer environment implementations and migrations, ensuring alignment with operational outcomes and department SLAs
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to early and mid-career engineers, fostering cross-functional collaboration

Required qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
• 7-10 years of experience in cloud operations or infrastructure engineering with increasing responsibility
• Strong experience with enterprise IT systems and cloud infrastructure, including security concepts
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-As-Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Certifications: Microsoft Azure Az-104 or equivalent Azure administration competency
