Senior System Administrator

Job Summary

To support the organization's infrastructure needs, the full-time Senior System Administrator will manage and optimize technical systems, oversee complex projects, and ensure reliable operations while collaborating with leadership, with the option to work remotely, hybrid, or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support infrastructure technologies to ensure reliability and performance
• Lead infrastructure projects using established project management methodologies
• Monitor system performance and perform maintenance, upgrades, and remediation activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or completion of a Computer Science Program preferred, with technical training and certifications as applicable
• Minimum of eight years of experience in IT and/or application development required
• Experience managing IBM WebSphere environments and Red Hat OpenShift platforms preferred
• Knowledge of IT service management and industry best practices such as ITIL and Agile
• Proficiency in automating infrastructure processes using scripting and configuration management tools preferred
