Senior System Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior System Engineer II specializing in virtualization and compute environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer, deploy, and manage enterprise hypervisor platforms across data centers and hybrid cloud
• Support and maintain HPE servers and administer Windows and Red Hat operating systems
• Lead remediation for vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and 7 years or 11 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on virtualization technologies
• Expertise in VMware ESXi, Azure Local, and OpenShift/KVM virtualization
• Strong knowledge of HPE server platforms, Windows Server, and RHEL
• Experience leading vulnerability remediation and platform hardening efforts
• Familiarity with automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform is a plus
