Senior System Software Engineer

Job Summary

Focusing on DevOps and Infrastructure Automation, the full-time Senior System Software Engineer will design and operate infrastructure for AI inference products, manage Kubernetes deployments, and architect CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams, with opportunities available in Santa Clara, Seattle, or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the infrastructure backbone for AI inference products, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Manage end-to-end Kubernetes deployments, including runbooks, canary checks, and post-deploy validations
• Architect CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, packaging, and release processes

Required qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience, with 7+ years in production distributed systems (SRE/DevOps/Platform Ops)
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including on-prem setup and debugging telemetry-heavy microservices across cloud platforms
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), Linux systems programming, and scripting in Python and Bash
• Fluency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm) and containerization (Docker, containerd)
• Proven experience in reliability ownership, incident response, and observability stacks like Prometheus and Grafana
