Senior System Software Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and implementing OpenBMC Firmware for GPU Server platforms, the full-time Senior System Software Engineer will focus on performance analysis, coding manageability features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while working remotely or onsite in Santa Clara.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement OpenBMC Firmware for various GPU Server platforms, particularly for Arm architecture
- Develop and review code, design documents, and QA test plans while ensuring alignment with product requirements
- Work with security teams and hardware teams to ensure code security and influence hardware design
Required qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in BMC Firmware development on X86 or ARM Platforms
- Expertise in board bring-up and device drivers such as I2C/I3C, SPI, PCIe, and SMBus
- Experience with OOB or In-band System Management and familiarity with DMTF Standards
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Bash, Python, and Go for Linux systems
