Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator with SS&C Advent experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, configuration, and upgrades of servers, storage, networks, and databases, ensuring regular updates and disaster recovery plans
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party services related to IT infrastructure and enterprise applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT systems support business workflows and develop IT policies for security and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; 10+ years of IT experience focusing on systems administration and infrastructure
• In-depth knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, system monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Exceptional communication skills for conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Prior experience in the wealth management or financial services industry is desirable
• Hands-on experience with SS&C Advent portfolio management software and relevant industry certifications are preferred
