Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting IT operations in a remote full-time capacity, the Senior Systems Administrator will design, automate, test, and deploy large-scale patching and upgrade solutions while focusing on scalable infrastructure architecture and enterprise vulnerability remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-wide patching and upgrade strategies across various environments
• Architect, automate, and maintain workflows for patching and upgrades using scripting and orchestration tools
• Provide senior-level technical support and guidance to system administrators on complex patching and configuration issues

Required qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; active Public Trust or DHS suitability preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering and enterprise system administration
• Experience with enterprise patch and upgrade management in Windows and/or Linux environments
• Proficiency in automation and scripting for patching and configuration management (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
