Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting a recently awarded program, the remote Senior Systems Administrator will manage, monitor, and optimize on-premises and cloud-based systems while collaborating with infrastructure and security teams to ensure stability, integrity, and security of IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administration and maintenance of security best practices across enterprise technology systems
• Collaborate with team members to ensure reliable operation of software, hardware, and cloud systems
• Support and troubleshoot network connectivity issues in hybrid environments, including Azure cloud resources

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of systems administration experience
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
• Knowledge of data privacy practices, including PCI compliance
• Strong understanding of systems planning and security principles
