Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Overseeing the bank's network infrastructure, the full-time remote Vice President, Senior Systems Administrator will manage network performance, mentor the IT team, and ensure high availability and security of network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement network strategies to support the bank's objectives and growth
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the IT team while collaborating with the CTO on network systems design and maintenance
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and reliability

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in network administration and operations, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Management, or a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience managing network operations and working with Windows-based server environments
• Relevant certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, CCNA, or similar are advantageous
• Ability to be on-call and respond to network emergencies outside of standard working hours
