Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting a recently awarded program, the remote contract-to-hire Senior Systems Administrator will manage and optimize cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring stability, security, and efficient operation of enterprise infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain security best practices across enterprise technology systems
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure reliable operation of software, hardware, and cloud systems
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and support a hybrid environment of on-premises servers and Azure cloud resources

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of systems administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Azure administration
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
• Familiarity with data privacy practices, including PCI compliance
• Proficient in network troubleshooting and general network infrastructure management best practices
